If you are interested in becoming a member of GS1 Jordan:
1-
Fill in the application form.
2-
Provide GS1 Jordan with a copy of the trade license certificate clearly showing
its legal status.
3-
The license agreement between your company and GS1 Jordan should be signed.
4-
Provide us with a list of your products that varies in size, color, weight
... etc.
5-
As soon as the membership fees are received either by cheque or cash, your unique
prefix will be allocated and your membership confirmed.
Membership Fees are as follows:
I. Entrance Fees:
JD 75
per member. This is a once only payment made on first registration.
II. Annual Fees:
Annuals Membership fees are 3 categories based on the company's legal status as
follows:
- JD 85
For general partnerships, limited partnerships, limited partnerships in shares and
sole proprietorships.
- JD 150
For limited liability companies, charitable societies, and non-profit entities.
- JD 300
For public shareholding companies, government and public agencies and corporations.

Once you have your prefix, GS1 Jordan will assign unique ID numbers to each different
product. You must produce the bar code symbols and locate them on your items
either by means of labels or by printing them onto your packaging materials.
7-
Make a careful record of the
number
assigned to your retail items and notify your
trading partners.
